Finished...

...actually, I've been out of surgery for about twelve hours now. I inherited a small bit of my da's problems with anesthetic, (I shook... a lot in recovery, but that's apparently fairly normal.) but a short nap cured it. So now I'm home, and things have finally de-numbed themselves enough that I'm beginning to feel the pain. But luckily, although I have an appointment next Wednesday with the surgeon, everything is okay. There was some stuff that they just kind of cleaned out... it was in some sort of partially-healed state, like it was trying to fix itself but the jarring I gave it day-in, day-out, and extra-helpings-on-Saturday was preventing it ever so slightly. I saw the pictures. Very interesting.

So my current killing-time routine is Final Fantasy X-2. And it's ever-so-slightly addictive. But not enough to make me shirk any sort of duty. But it is a quarter to one in the morning, and I need my sleep, so off to beddy-bye I go... just thought anybody who was interested in my life (crickets chirp) would like to know that I'm okay.

Ask the next general anesthesiologist you ever encounter about zofran, which is an anti-nausea drug originally used for Chemo' patients. It's been released by the FDA that it also works well in corporation with general anesthetic drugs to reduce or (thankfully in my case) eliminate certain side effects (such as respiratory failure and difficult awakenings).

I'm glad you came out well, though. Keep us updated of healing/recovering progress.
