...I just got thumped three times playing cards with my family (Last, second to last, and Dead Last), just in case my ego thought it was actually going to get any boosting... either that, or my luck just ran out for the week or something. Maybe tomorrow I'll have better luck today.

I could have run a car to Ohio and back, but I wanted to be around for my sis's open house and my da's fiftieth brithday party. And then there was the whole three game stomping, and I get up to LJ and I find out the President Reagan passed on, and welah may or may not have the Best Buy gig. This was coupled with a miss in the Triple Crown and Tampa Bay taking the Stanley Cup Finals to a game 7.

So today was a good day and a not good day, all wrapped into one package. *sigh*

I'm a little too much of a young'un to remember much of Reagan. But, I have seen the effects of Alzheimer's, and I wouldn't wish it on anybody. We salute you, Mr. Reagan, for you deserve it.
