Fourth of July...

..and by the time of this posting, I have turned the year counter another click forward. Stupid thing's only one-way, though. So happy brithday to myself and all that, even though most people will be busy celebrating the bigger holiday and not the lesser one. (This is why having your birthday on the fourth is a pain.)

So today will be an interesting day and night, so wish me luck. Twenty-one's going to be an interesting ride...

I did go party. It was an enjoyable time, and I really couldn't pretend everyone was celebrating my birthday because, well, almost nobody was in town. But that's okay. I still had fun anyway.
