silveradept...took a substitute shift umpiring today and got much more action than I had yesterday... gawd. *sigh* Oh, well, finished now. Plus money to my spending funds.
Work was uneventful, since most of it was me rendering periodicals suitable to be set loose amongst the general public. After a while, my brain started complaining, so I left some for the next person to finish. Took the other shift on Friday, so I'm there from 8-5... at least I get an hour's lunch. (Mostly because my employer, the University, refuses to pay any more than 8 hours in a single day. So that's that.) Too bad I've read all the books I had as work-distractions. This could be really interesting to see if I can survive for the day. Maybe I'll MUD for some of that day or something. I'll keep myself sane in some positive manner. Of course, that could mean something that would drive the rest of you bonkers...
I'm not driving any cars this weekend. Boo. I'm also only grocery shopping for myself now... at least until the end of the month. Whee. And I've got one more week until I go get GRE'd. Garg.
That being said, something is, well, novel about this idea. (Probably NSFW, but... I'm not really sure...)
