silveradept...today started most interestingly. I think I had a nightmare. Yesterday, I went reviewing some of my most-commented entries, and that was okay. but the one dream I remember, I was having the shakes - the same kind of ones that I was having out of the surgery on my knee, but worse, almost like violent thrashings. I think I was in my own bed, and near the end, a roommate (Miss S? It was a definitely female presence) came into the room and was trying to stop it by trying to draw me back to sanity or something like that. But when I awoke, it was calmly, without any sort of terror... so I said, "I should remember this dream." and so I have. Anybody who has practice at dream interpretation, could you take a whack at it?
The rest of the day progressed interestingly - I fielded a request from someone who wanted to know if Apple-USB keyboard adapters existed. (Do they? One that'll take the old Mac keyboard and provide it with a USB to plug into, say, a new computer?)
And tonight, I went out to the bars with friends - I almost got bounced at one of them for "not being 21". They did change their mind, though. Seems a bit silly - but I know that my license photo doesn't look like me at the moment, and I wondered if he was just suspicious of the license in general (but if I'm going to pass a fake, I'm not going to use one that has the 'Under 21 until' still on it. I have better sense than that.) I did manage to get in and enjoy a pint of cider. So I'm back now, and I've just watched Roommate N and his friend D wrestle each other in a show of masculinity (not really trying to hurt each other, luckily. Although our landscaping is probably hurting pretty bad right now.)
It would appear that I am... good.

Yay for me. and now, the symphony of snoring - somnolence, sleep, silence...
