Date: 2019-08-16 12:34 pm (UTC)I finished the second edits on the ambush project on the 15th. I think I need at least one more go before it'll satisfy me that it's ready for an editor to tear apart. This isn't perfectionism speaking (perfect is the enemy of done, as I'm fond of saying)--this is fact. LoL! Because it began as a short story and became something much different, it's still suffering here and there from characterization issues and, I think, pacing flaws.
