Today has been interesting. The guys over at DRT decided today was a squirrel day. Considering Ann Arbor has a few good squirrel jokes of its own, this is particularly funny to me. Especially when there's a Foamy rant involved. So that's that.

Then, as I cruise along my friends list, it turns out that lordmork has put up some poignant pieces of prose. Politically inclined, perhaps. The first is about the training of tradesmen to recognize signs that they're in a terrorist's home. I'm just waiting to see what happens when someone gets accused of it because someone left their copy of 2600 that they borrowed lying around. I certainly hope the stink is legendary.

The second, about this gem of a misstep - This site, and the associated pdf linked. Some of those acronyms are definitely people smoking weed things. <Go read the comments on this one, especially rimspace's. The Internet is not full of evil predator-types who are just waiting to trap unsuspecting children. Most of us are civilized beings. Parents need to keep an eye out for problems, but also need to give their child the freedom to explore the net.

Oh... what was I doing today? Not a whole lot. I got convinced by tustsujigirl to go join another RP community based on Final Fantasy characters. I'm not sure whether I should be speaking its name to anyone yet, so I'll refrain, but if I get the green light, they could use some players, so those of you interested in that sort of thing may need to pay attention to a later entry.
