So I helped move in Lil' Sis into College today. Probably was the fastest move I've ever done. But now she's settled in just one town over from me, and ready to begin her band camp. (Mine starts Friday, technically, but Thursday, really) So my last work shift for two weeks happens tomorrow. After that, I've got to bang out my schedule so that I can settle into a different rhythm of working. Band week will be tough, but I think I can get through it. I have all the other ones.

Reminder to self - after work, shave off the facial hair. You'll thank yourself for it in band week. Keep it shaved. It will be to your benefit. Second thing - practice, you sorry S.O.B, as soon as you get the instrument.

From the fine folks at Pocket Otaku, a link to an interesting offer: The Time Travel Fund. It being $10, I wonder whether it would be worth the investment. Might be worth the $10 to get the certificate, and if it comes to pass, hey, who knows?

If you remember the penguin game a while back, someone modded it. PO linked to a much bloodier and mine-filled version of it, available here.

We snicker greatly at this article. It proves that the 'Net can be useful for leveling the playing field. True, it might also be aiding terrorists (government-authorized or otherwise), but I find it somewhat humorous.

While older, this article about Rapture Politics makes you wonder whether or not someone really is trying to bring about an apocalypse, either by direct effort or direct indifference.

Either way, off to bed with me. I'll sleep soundly, right up until my roommate wakes me from sleeping through my alarm by saying that my alarm is going off.

Oookay, that's just bizzare. They might stand a better chance if they had a professional looking site that didn't make me want to gouge my eyeballs out though. Interesting idea, but there's a minor problem - if it did work, I'd expect to have heard more about it. Meh, when someone gets a contained, stable, rotating black hole then I'll start considering it. ;)
