I'm already past bedtime. This is a quick entry.

Chocolate Deities and religious figures. Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] tinchen for showing me this... now all they need is Invisible Pink Unicorn and they'll be set. And perhaps a Maritza. Best taken with Consumer's Guide to Afterlife.

Librarires stocking manga. And I thought I was going to be original when I tried to do it for mine. Drat.

Behavol. Double-U Tee Fricking Eff! Negative reinforcement, I guess, but I'd say it's more a sign of the idea that "medicate everything", even when it's a placebo. Whatever happened to parenting...?

Last Joke: Pagans in Heaven. I'm remembering this one. Lovely joke.

And with that, as my laundry spins in the dryer, to bed I go.

I agree. Or maybe there's no heaven at all. The problem with Pascal's Wager is that I'm not willing to bet my life on anything.

My understanding of Pascal's wager is that the cost for betting is one life, and the reward is eternal life if you win. It ocurrs to me that if you don't win you lose your life to a belief system. I think its fair to decide not to bet on Pascal's Wager because the cost is too great.
