Quick stuff tonight, as I'm on my way out the door to get myself home for concerts and that.

Fearless Leader admits his rhetoric may have been a tad unspohisticated. But he claims to have been misinterpreted. Feels like a dodge to me.

A story of Marines committing murder? The investigation is ongoing, but excessive force appears to have been used. Question is, how many of these cases happened but aren't being reported or caught on television?

Told you it would be quick. But it's important. Tomorrow, we rock the house in suits for the concert. Maybe this time I'll get a decent picture of myself in a suit.

I feel sick every time I read the story about the murder by Marines, and I'm not one to be easily affected like that.

This tells me that Iraq is continuing to follow the Vietnam path. Which can't end well. Which could mean collapse of the country if the local security forces can't handle it when we do finally decide to go.

I mean, i'm not a fan of Bush, but I rather like NOT feeling as if the country is falling apart.

I'm really starting to be reminded of Starhawk's book, The Fifth Sacred Thing. (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0553373803/sr=8-1/qid=1148993295/ref=pd_bbs_1/104-5031189-1799102?%5Fencoding=UTF8) Amazon has a weird description of the book, but if i remember it correctly, the only people that gain access to food and water are those who obey the "official religion", woman are now the property of their husbands and/or the state....and tehn in the middle of all of this, there's the utopia where earth, air, fire, and water are valued above anything else. it's a good read. i reccomend it...either borrow my copy, or grab a copy when you're at the library (if they have it)
